Scripture Scholar is a Bible quiz app that helps you learn and test your knowledge of Scripture through interactive quizzes. This policy explains what information we collect, why we need it, and how we protect it.

If you use "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple," we receive your email and profile picture from those services. We never receive or store your Google or Apple password.

Daily Quiz Reminders

You can choose to receive daily reminders to take your quiz. Here's how it works:

Leaderboards

Scripture Scholar includes leaderboards so you can see how you rank against other players. When you appear on a leaderboard, other users can see:

How We Protect Your Data

Encryption

All data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS—the same security used by banks and online shopping sites. This means no one can intercept or read your data while it's being transmitted.

Your data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, a secure database service that:

If you sign up with email, your password is never stored in readable form. We use a one-way process called "hashing" that makes it impossible for anyone—including us—to see your actual password.

Delete Your Account

Permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings.

Change your display name, email, or profile picture anytime.
